I am new to the forum and would appreciate any advice or help you can give me please.

 

I have a 68 plate Octavia estate, it is an approved used and I have just noticed the front 12V lighter is not working but the one in the boot is.

 

Am I right in thinking the front & boot 12V are both connected to the same fuse  (40), therefore if the boot 12 V is working then it cannot be the fuse?

 

how easy is it to take out and replace the front 12v, with out damaging the trim? What steps are involved?

 

I can see you can pick spare up of eBay for around £10

Are you trying to use the front one when the ignition is turned off?

 

I'm sure it switches off after a certain time when the ignition is turned off if I remember correctly.
