Dad caught speeding

Featured Replies

Advice please!

My dad has fallen victim to the North Wales Police. He was caught last Sunday doing 36 mph in a 30 zone on the A470.

His Notice of Intended Prosecution arrived in the post this morning.

I know that there are 'ways and means' around these things (i.e. to avoid prosecution, which I'm sure we as legally abiding Briskodians don't condone ;) )

I'm sure that he will more than likely accept it, but what are your experiences or tips?

Don't go to North wales, the chief constable is a motoring hating ****.

Try www.pepipoo.co.uk for lots of info on this topic.

However in my view speeding in a 30 zone is bad and is actually where I think the majority of cameras should be as opposed to on straight national speed limit roads.

Yeah, I've read plenty about Richard Brunstrom. Maybe that force should have also sent my dad an "I've visited North Wales and got a FPN as a souvenir" car sticker!

I've been on that website, thanks!

I've put this in the wrong forum - really wanted it to go in General Car Chat. Damn keyboard!
