Updated my Columbus ECE 2020 maps today from the update poprtal. When the update reached 100% completed screen displayed Error re-install updateand gave the options of Restart or OK. I removed the card and my maps now show as ECE2020/2021 so it has updated another example of simply clever - not.

Thanks for the heads up on the new maps. I did the update today and it completed in 50 minutes without Error.

I updated mine last week. I left the maps updating and then popped in the house, when I got back to the car, the Columbus was off.

Switched it on, assumed the update had finished, took out SD Card - grumble from unit that I'd removed the card too soon. Put card back in, update completed, all good.

Wouldn't call it "clever", it just did what it was supposed to do.
