Adaptive lane guidance functionality - default on

Featured Replies

Hi to all fellow drivers,

For some reasons while starting the car lane assist switches off. Isolated few cases(morning direct sunlight, IR reflector on driveway, dirt on camera,.. etc) that is ok and somehow understandable. In most cases warning light disappears on dashboard after a minute or so of driving or clearing windshield. But then you have to enable back lane assist as it remains being turned off. This part is easy since there is an shortcut on steering wheel to do so. However “Adaptive lane guidance functionality“ switch back on requires fiddling over menus in infotainment.

same is when I manually disable lane assist(windy roads when you are not in the mood fighting A.I. when cutting corners :) ) after coming back to highway fiddling with menus comes back at play.

did someone managed to find a way to have adaptive guidance set to on by default when enabling lane assist?

thanks in advance

On mine, the ALG is on by default as long as I have the "Lane Assist" ticked.

I don't have to do any extra fiddling.

Setting is saved fine for me, both Lane Assist and Adaptive Lane Guidance, Super Combi 2020.

Thanks! I was told the same by the college driving Karoq that it is by default on. Must have been something off then with mine then. I will add it to the list(attached trailer not recognized - resulting in abrupt breaking while backing up with bike rack on 🤪 and Qi charging being cutoff after couple of seconds when phone is placed onto charging pad)to be checked by garage.

I hope some sw update gimmick will do the job :)
