Recently accquired a mk 3 Superb and the parcel shelf strings are missing 😞

Having looked around I can see why , the peg in the shelf is a massive weak point  so I want to use what they use in the Fabia / Octavia, the heavy rubber ball on the underside the shelf.

So having spent too may hours trying to find out the length of these strings,  does anyone know -
 

How long the genuine Superb strings are ? ( so I can make my own up if the Fabia / Octavia ones are too short )

 

How long the Fabia / Octavia ones are . ( I may be able to get from a write off if they are ok.)

On my hatchback the strings are 373 mm in length from the top of the loop to the bottom of the rubber ball. That is give or take a millimetre or two,  

^^^^ The ones on our 2016 MKIII has a rubber ball too?
