Fuel tank capacity 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG

Featured Replies

Hi!

Does anybody know what's the fuel tank capacity of 2.0 TDI 150 CP DSG 4x4? I filled with 47l, Today, while it had almost 1 line above the red area.

I found on google that it's 50L, but also some sites saying that it's 55L.

Thanks!

Normal Octavia is 55l but the 4x4 is only 50 as it has a different fuel tank due to the drive shaft to the rear.

According to the November 2019 owner's manual, the fuel capacity for vehicles with front wheel drive is about 50 litres, and for vehicles with four-wheel drive about 55 litres, with about 6 litres as reserve.

Actually. It's the other way round sorry. 2wd is 50l and the 4wd is 55l.

Think because it has a split tank so obviously gains some capacity somehow. Or they make it slightly bigger to account for the slightly raised fuel consumption so it still achieves the same range.

Same on the Yeti.

Is the 6l reserve within that figure?

Do you mean if the 6l are within the 55l?

This has been debated and isn't explicitly stated, but most posters seem to believe the 'reserve' is within the stated fuel tank size, and presumably says when the red low fuel warning light comes on.
