i've done a couple of sprints and spectated many times at curborough (i've even camped there) and IMO i always though it was a bit micky mouse the track with not much run off at the first right hander which has seen many cars in the bushes/trees , the track is really suited to smaller , more manoeuvrable cars , but i must admit one of my favourite motorsport experiences was there , i think the car was an ex michele mouton audi quattro rally car , sponsored by hammonds bedrooms iirc ,and to hear it going through all the gears down the back straight was incredible .
