Can the Bolero system be replaced for Apple Carplay/Android Auto?

So, I just thought of it and figured it'd be great to get apple carplay/android auto in my 2013 Skoda Superb Mk2.

Any leads on which system/brand would be compatible to ensure optimum functionality with the Superb's computer.

MIB STD2 PQ units, factory installed in Yeti from MY16.

- Bolero without DAB 5L0035680B or 5L0035680D

- Bolero with DAB 5L0035680C or 5L0035680E

- Amundsen without DAB 5L0035680B or 5L0035680D

- Amundsen with DAB 5L0035680C or 5L0035680E

Unit must be hacked in order to work in Superb Mk2.

Wow, I saw your entire thread regarding this matter and it's amazing with all the work you put in to make it happen.

The only downside for me is that it'll be hard to get Amundsen at a decent price where I'm from and then perform a hack on it.

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hi All, I want get any advice when it comes to using the obd11 or other such scanners on the facelift mk4, especially stuff like changing the settings for auto stop start and lane departure. Can you unlock the sfd2 with this device? There website is very confusing as to whether it will work. Cheers

Yesterday our Roomster started beeping and flashing the warning light about the ABS. My first thought was to replace the ABS sensors – they are around £7 each and seem to be easy enough to replace by removing the rear wheels. I could also give the connections a bit of a clean at the same time. What are my chances chances of fixing the issue within 45 minutes of DIY work? I don’t have any diagnostic tools, but if this is a common fault with an easy fix it would be great to know what other peo

Have a very frustrating problem with my Fabia... The rear offside brake cylinder developed a bad leak, braking power very poor, near home so very carefully managed to get it home. Left it outside, pouring rain. Next day I discovered the cylinder had seemingly emptied a lot of brake fluid overnight. I couldn't do anything with it for a week. My driveway is on a slope downhill, I got the car down the drive very carefully without using brakes but just using clutch biting point in 1st gear. Position

Hi. I have a leak of diesel or oil from my Octavia 1.6 diesel engine and I am taking it to get steam cleaned etc today before driving down to a garage for them to check the leak . Is it ok for me to continue to drive my car around ? I have been for quite a while with this burning smell, the garage has said it should be fine but I just wanted some other advice. No warning lights come on and the car runs ok . Thank you.
