Hi All, 

 

I'm currently driving an octavia vrs diesel 2009. It has the dreaded plastic air inlet manifold it is showing the P2015 fault code so with help from other threads I managed to get the alloy bracket installed. This has resulted in 2 further codes claiming that 2 of the flaps are now closed...? 

 

In brief I was wondering has anybody bought one of those replacement air intake manifolds off of ebay they seam great value. Also wondered how difficult are they to fit..? Is it patience and methodology or is there major setting up and disassembly of other systems to remove

I've taken the plunge and bought the intake manifold and motor. So let's see what happens..... 

Has anybody else been and purchased one of these yet as I'd be interested to know. If I'm honest I suspect its just the motor element of the item that's faulty on my car. After fitting the 'bracket' it generated a new code suggesting intake flappers were  closed code *066....…? Has anybody else had this... 

 

Would anybody know if there are any other parts required other than the intake manifold and motor....? Is there a sensor anywhere that I need or are they in the motor inlet..?
