Parrott 3200

I have been reading about these, and have one on order!

Problems / problems, has anyone here had one recently? Feedback please, cus i might just ask for my money back.

I've got the one without satnav and it works fine with my mobi.

That said make absolutely sure you get the latest firmware on it as there were problems with older ones and newer firmware tends to work with more recent phones.

I'm pretty happy with mine though I must admit, phone-manufacturer specific ones tend to be better if you're likely to stick with a brand but it all depends on what you are after really.

Have you got yours wired in so it works through your speakers? How do you ensure the latest firmware? Is it a USB download thingy?

You need to update it using Bluetooth, there is some software on the parrot site for this.

Mine is wired in via the speakers, microphone is fitted near sunroof, little control unit is on a blanking plate above the HU.

No USB connection on it though.

Did you get it all installed and working correctly?

I am debating getting one to replace my Nokia 610 Bluetooth Car Kit.

Only question I have is how does it sit in the Car is it flush against the dash with wires hid and is it viewable in direct sunlight or is it not an issue because of where it is located. BTW best location for it in the centre above the Header Unit, so to the left of the driver or on or near the vent on the right of the driver or would the steering wheel obscure the view of the screen.

OK so a few questions.

A few picks in Here of my Parrot CK3100 Install

Mine is fitted on a blanking plate under the HU - the dealer driller a hole through to fit the little display bracket onto that, and a second one to get the cable fed through. Then if I decide to sell the car I can just buy a blanking plate and it's gone. It doesn't obscure the HU and it's at a good height. I guess a lot also depends on your personal preferences :)

Thanks for that.

Just ordered one, having it fitted Thursday Morning in Watford.

Well got one fitted yesterday morning a 3400-LS GPS one, as it was only a tenner more and I have GPS for futures not that I am currently using it.

So far I have been well impressed with the Call Quality, used it most of the way back up North last night.
