brake light

Featured Replies

both low level brake lights work, high level stopped working checked all fuses drivers side ,wired the high level unit to the car battery and lights came on,put it back on car still not working .2003 skoda octavia hatch 1.9 tdi. any help appreciated.

Did you check for voltage at the high level power connector?

I suspect the contacts are oxidised/PCB pins have fractured solder.

checked the wires with multi meter when brake pedal was pressed no sign of life, the light works when connected with wire to low level brake lights, keep getting warning buzzer saying brake light fail, low level are working, thanks for replying micmac, could be a break in wire some where, that will be fun finding, the high level brake light won't go through a relay will it,clutching at straws here.
