Featured Replies

Hi all :)

Have a lovely 2018 VRS in Rallye Green, have an issue when connecting to Android Auto. Anybody seen this before? All other features work this only happens when using Android Auto?

It could be a dodgy cable but more importantly have you set developer mode on your phone?

Push and hold down the power button on the radio until it resets itself. That might work.

Does that preform a soft reset? Will I loose my radio stations ect?

Thanks again.

Should say the lead works in my 3008 using Android Auto just checked, and charges the phone fine. I'll buy a new lead and see how I get on.

I'd try the dev mode option first though.

Any idea what you are expecting with Dev mode? Is there a specific setting within that makes it better with AA?

Lol.

My previous post was a bit vague!

With every new Android phone I always set this up to increase the screen resoloution IIRC.

Also, looking back to the OP's photo, maybe if it's a mobile signal strength issue as it doesn't appear to be getting sufficient information to display correctly?

Another potential aid could be to download the relevant Google Maps area to the phone to assist if there's a data problem?
