Superb rear window washer not working

Featured Replies

😰🥶

Mine frequently blocks up - get a needle or pin and give the jet a good poke out.

Not the problem, pump working, water level in reservoir dropping but no water at rear jet. I've removed the jets and exposed the pipe still no water.

Don't know where its going, must be a break in the supply pipe somewhere and probably draining into the chassis/upholstery.

Anyone know where the pipe runs so I can check it ?

mad

If a pipe has become disconnected in the hatch lid you normally get water coming out at the bottom of the door like mine did.

The tubing runs from the top of the door through a rubber convoluted tube into the cabin near side I think. It runs in the loom which can be seen by easing the head lining down, you may have pull the door seals down to.

I recently ran a cable along this route so the above cable run is what I can recall while doing that.

If you have a rear camera check the lens gets washed when rear wiper is on.

If you do have to repair a pipe Skoda do a repair connector I read somewhere

Can you help me please? The rear washer spray on my 2019 Superb is not working. I have removed the cap at the base of the wiper to expose the jets. I have removed the jet piece and the holes are clear as I can blow air through. The front wash works and the pump runs when I try to operate the rear wash. Should I try hot water in the empty washer tank as I have seen recommended? Thank you.

Have you operated the rear washer with the jets removed to see if you get a big stream of water spurting?  If so, your jets are still blocked and I recommend pushing  5amp fuse wire through to clear. If no spurt either pump at rear is u/s, no water in tank or blockage in the line from water tank to rear screen.

Yes I have removed the jets and they seem clear. So there is a second pump in the rear then? I guess I have to remove the rear inner panel then?

Thanks for your help
