Is the head unit cd control compatible with the standard fitted boot unit???

I've been looking at this for a few months now, and as flyingscot said, Christmas is around the corner!!!!!!

The short answer is no.

The long answer is also no, but padded out a bit... :)

Not sure which aerial it is I have the feeling that it might be the glass mounted one, but a beesting one would be very nice although there about

Depends on where you shop, some places give you the beesting, whereas others wil supply a glass mount

The combined aerial is the one to get if you plan to use AM/FM and DAB and dont want to have any additional aerials on the car.

The glass mount is only any good where you have excellent coverage otherwise the signal will breakup easily.

If you are not bothered by AM/FM then get the DAB only beesting to replace the VAG aerial, its a nice short stubby afair and will give excellent reception even in weak signal aerials just like the combined aerial.

Me, I have the combined aerial.

The antenna that is normally supplied with the Woodstock is our (www.panorama.co.uk) GMDAB3 glassmount product that works well, but DAB networks are still relatively immature so coverage is still patchy.

The best solution is a combined beesting type, we do a AM/FM+DAB dual band (Band3&L Band) amplified on both functions. This will give great performance and is powered up the antenna cable, just like the original. We do this type, but it isn't cheap (GBP100+VAT).

I would advise against fitting a DAB only beesting, as even with the above type of antenna on my car, DAB coverage is not consistent and the radio will switch to FM at times.
