Rubbing strips

You know the black plastic ones running down the side of the car on all but the VRS, still havent got my sport yet (DVLA being a pain) but the front and back have similar body styling to the vRS but they leave the black strips down the side which doesn't look right on a red car.

1. Do you think the vrs side strips will fit the sport (can't see why not) if so anyone have any ideas on cost / fitting?

2. If the above is not possible do you think it would be hard / expensive to have them sprayed? , I would imagine getting a match would be hard though
