PD130 hybrid turbo FMIC acceleration 20-100mph

Featured Replies

I vote for 210+ As long as its not more than 221. ;)

Gonna have to give this a crack myself now. How did you video it? Was it a passenger?

I've got a phase 1 TurboDynamics which kinda sux in hindsight as I was unaware of the phase 2 until post-fitting (oops).

Either way that looks pretty fast ;)

i make that 30-100mph indicated in 13 seconds, not bad :)

might have to go record some times :D

more like 12 secs, just checked, speedo starts at 27mph and the overall time of the clip is 12 secs, (maybe a half). If the road wasnt wet and the tyres were ok i reckon it would do 0-100 in just over 13 secs, not bad for a diesel:P

yeah its about 12.9 secs for 27-100

That's quick!

i doubt you'd do 0-100 in under 13 seconds.

as you'd either end up doing a quater mile in under 14 or 13 seconds or cross the line at well over 100mph.

i wouldnt worry because performance wise probably feck all difference on the standard injectors, stage 2 would be more for uprated injectors and you might have more durability, thats the reason i went for stage 2, just a bit more durability.

I'm not too concerned really - I'm glad I got it though as the bigger turbo will help a bit with the FMIC extra volume it needs to fill, the standard turbo struggled a bit to get boost up quickly.

It's likely I'll stop with the phase 2 remap as far as increasing power is concerned, at least for a while ;)
