Dsg7 problem scorching 2nd

Featured Replies

Good evening to all.  I am from Greece and recently 1 month ago I got a Skoda octavia dsg7 1.6tdi with 205,000 kilometers.  when I have 2nd gear at low speeds (1,300-1,700) I feel like it is kicking me.  but only in the 2nd relation.  all other speeds are fine.  and the changes are good they did not hit.  what can this be l?  Does anyone know or something similar has happened to him and he has proceeded to repair and the problem has been solved?  thank you very much in advance!the shazman is dq200 and has not changed oils, nor has it been made by any other kind of winding ...

Has the DSG been reset or serviced at all?

There is no Service Schedule or Guidelines from Skoda / VW on DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG's.

There is a TPI and Service Campaign / Recall Action on some from 2013-2015 which started in 2017.

A Software Update introduced as a 'Preventative Measure' because of heat / pressure issues.

In Australia this is yet another 'RECALL' started in 2019,

just like the World Wide Recall started in 2012 on 2009-2012 DQ200 DSG's.

No

It might be worth getting it reset. If you have VCDS or OBDeleven you can do it yourself. I have reset my own DSG and it works a lot smoother now.
