Felicia 1z conversion mount issue

Recently got asked to help a mate look at his Felicia pickup which he has a z engine for, I suggested a Landover 200 pump, as he was missing 1/2 the stuff required from the MK3 golf it came out of, the question I have is what mounts do you use? We have used his original gearbox I know it'll be be really short geared! And we used the original engine mounts from the Felicia but when fitting the engine with the alternator the engine is too far forward and hits the radiator and we are unable to get the the lower dog bone mount on! Is there a a different mount that's required for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated
