Key personalisation

Featured Replies

HI, just received my 2020 Superb Style iv PHEV. Its great.

Does anyone know how I personalise each kessy key so when one of them opens the car it automatically adjusts the seats to the set drivers position? I can't seem to find the option, there are NO personalisation settings in any of the vehicle menus.

You'll find it under Personalisation.   Menu > Vehicle > Setttings (Cog at bottom right hand corner) > Peronsalisation

@DaveSuperbdid you have any joy with the personalisation settings? I've just picked up my Superb iV but having the same problem you had!

Not yet, Skoda seem pretty useless for tech support. They keep telling me to go the dealer which is difficult during lockdown.

There also an annoying welcome message that appears on the screen every time I start driving the car, I have to click OK to remove it, unnecessary and distracting while driving. They tell me to bring it to the dealer for this too and won’t just tell me how to turn it off.

Is your iv a Style model? if you get any answers let me know.

You cannot turn off that notification at the start, and personalization doesn't work. Welcome to the iV joyride, been waiting for these and other fixes for a year now, and although they are just software fixes, Skoda doesn't seem to able to fix them.

Any attempted contact with Skoda has been ignored. Its a pity, the car is great but the buggy software really is frustrating and would make me think twice about buying another Skoda. Cars are big computers these days, the need to invest in proper user research and testing.
