  1. My software version is 0278. It's much better than the version that I had when I first got the car.
  2. You're infotainment might be due an upgrade to the software. Mine was painfully slow when I first got it. I'll check tomorrow what version mine is now running as its so much better.
  3. Supply and demand I would say. When I bought mine exdemo 3 years ago there weren't many around. Fast forward 3 years and I reckon a lot company cars leased on 36 months have now been handed back.
  4. I have a 2020 Superb iV SEL with just under 40k in the clock. I bought it because a lot of my journeys are short and I also really like the smoothness and low noise of the electric drive. I had a fully electric car previously but couldn't afford to go fully electric again on a car the size of the Superb so it was a compromise for me. It's worked out well and really don't regret it. I probably get about 20+ miles from the battery. For piece of mind I took out the Skoda All In plan at £29 a month which covers extended warranty, service, MOT and breakdown cover. I've been toying with selling for sometime now to go fully electric again but finding it very hard to find something comparable to the Superb that is affordable!
  5. I have the iV and have been considering something similar. Where did you get yours done?
  6. Thanks for that. Sounds like it could well be the same issue. The car is 3 years and 9 months old, luckily I have taken out extended warranty directly with Skoda which I hope will cover this!! My problem is that it is quite intermittent, in that it seems to only kick in on longer journeys and once the car has had time to rest it goes back to normal. Hopefully the dealer will still be able to test for the problem somehow.
  7. 2020 Superb iV. The last couple of journeys I have had on the car have been 2 hours plus each way. On both of the last occasions about 90mins into the drive (having had the air con on low since start), all of a sudden dust starts blowing out of the vents, not just a little bit, almost like the vents are vaping!! If I put the air con on recirculate the dust doesn't come in. There is a noticeable difference in the power of the air coming out from the vents now though, almost like they are blocked. The power goes back to normal once the car has been turned off overnight and the air con put back on. Filter was last changed 8 months ago, about 8000 miles. Any ideas?
  8. Many thanks. I've run and saved a full scan, I've used VCDS a few times just for troubleshootimg but coding is new to me. Just got a bit stuck to begin with. Thanks for the link, I did have a look on the Ross Tech site but confused myself even more!
  9. I thought I would give this a try but I'm struggling to know which buttons in VCDS to click through. I have found the A5 module but not sure where I go from there to select the Bytes that I need to modify. Can anyone point me in the right direction on which buttons to press?
  10. I have the iV which is now also outside of the manufactures standard warranty. I did find the entertainment unit/screen painfully slow but updates at the dealer finally manged to fix it. I also had SOS error message twice which finally resulted in having hardware replaced. I really like the car but didn't want to risk expensive repair bills so took out the skoda all in plan at £30 a month which gives me extended warranty, MOT, annual service and breakdown cover.
  11. I had same problem with Winchester back in February. They even booked the car in, had it for a day then told me they couldn't carry out the recall!! They did manage to fix an sos error and another warranty it but not really the point though.
  12. Mine was booked into Winchester. They wanted the car for three days to do the recall and replace a telematics device due to sos error. Got a phone call half a day to advise car was ready to collect and they didn't do the recall as didn't have the correct tooling. Very frustrating.
  13. Really helpful thank you. Interestingly when I when to the gov website and entered by reg or selected skoda superb 2020 I couldn't find any
  14. Recently got my iv back from its annual service. Apparently there is a recall on the battery and it needs to be booked back in... garage need the car for three days as the battery needs to be removed! I struggled to get much more info out of the dealer than that.. I know there were recalls preciously (link here) but not sure if that is what mine would be in for or not. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this. I looked up recalls online and apparently there are none outstanding on my car.
