I’ve had my Scout for almost three years and have only recently realised there is a different way to display the menu as a grid instead of a list. This is the way it show’s on my recently loaned work car. There is an option under Menu -> settings -> screen to display the menu as grid or list. 

This option isn’t available on my Scout (MY18) but is on the work Octavia (68 plate).

Is it something I could change in VCDS?

Pop a picture of the menu screen up. Grid option should be in all MIB2.5’s
