Columbus RCA Output?

Featured Replies

I think I know the answer to this but is there any way to tap off a pre out (RCA) / line level from the standard Columbus unit in a mk3 sportline 280? I know about the LC2i option and the Kenwood amp I have for my sub also has high level speaker inputs so that’s another possible option but preferably I’d like to get a “clean” line out signal which I could then use into the amp and just use the built in low pass filter.

I’ve searched and searched through this forum for the last few weeks and haven’t come across a definitive answer (other than LC2i).

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Its this type of screen though I understand the actual amp/processor is the unit in the glove box where the SD and SIM card slots are?

Ok after a bit more research it appears there is no line out on the head unit/processor in the glove box so the next question is where is the easiest place to pick up a pair of speaker feeds to tap either into the high level on the amp or an LC2i converter?

I’m guessing at the unit in the glove box as I presume the speakers are all door mounted so wouldn’t be accessible from the boot?
