Speakers clipping and distorting

Hi

I have just noticed my speakers are clipping and distorting when volume is approaching 30%ish.

 

I have read previously on here that its the crossover on the tweeter causing the issue. 

Really not wanting to dig deeper and have to change the speakers as I will end up buying an amp as well, if i buy a pair of crossovers and use them on the original speakers will that solve the issue. Any help with wiring will be much appreciated.
