SD card issue.

Evening. 
 

I was driving to work this morning listening to music through my sd2 card. A track came on which I decided to skip so I pressed the steering wheel arrow to select the next track. 
 

The sd then started to play the first track of the next file instead of the next track of the existing file. Another press of the steering wheel arrow resulted in the same result. Even when I let the track play it would then only play the first track of the next file, not track 2 etc.

 

I ejected the card and then once reinstalled normal service resumed.

 

Any ideas as to why this happened?

Usually this is caused when a file on the SD card is either not supported by the hardware or if a file on the SD card was corrupted. Did you check the files before wiping them?

Happens to me all the time. 

 

Clean the connectors or change the card. Mine is MicroSD and in the adapter, so probably this is an issue. Forgot about it until you've mentioned it, as I use mostly Spotify recently.

Mine’s a normal sd card, not micro.

I’m not sure what format they are, I just ripped them off cds on an old lap top at work..

 

I’ll keep an eye on it...
