citigo - height adjustable passenger seat???

Featured Replies

Can I get a height adjustable passenger seat for a 2014 citigo?  (or Up/Mii if it would be compatible)

Thought I would ask before looking a complete plum at a breakers yard.

Car is great when I am driving, but the fixed height passenger seat is too low!

I asked here 2 years ago, but best suggestion was to track down a French drivers seat.

Currently sitting on cushions when on the passenger side and considering a roomster (if the seats are higher!)

No big deal to figure out how to spec some brackets/interposers to raise the height, but fully adjustable will be harder!

EU breaker yards are the place to check. You only need the undercarriage, not the whole seat, I would think.

It's a bit of a 1st-world problem for a cheap city car!

You might also ask on the VW Up! forum, which is comparatively massive to this one.

OK will give the UP site a go.

My facelift Up! has a height adjustable passenger seat much to my surprise, see if you can have a nosey at a facelift Citigo and see if it's the same :)

Thanks David! I will have a look for Facelift versions.

I signed up to the VW Forum site (instead of UP site as recommended above), but goodness me are some moderators/long members there standoffish (or lets be frank - rude) esp as the site is really difficult to navigate for newbies . Wont be going there again even though I was also looking for advice about whether to have a go at sprucing up my first love - my 35 year old polo breadvan or get a 2nd car (poss Auto Roomster)

Thanks to everyone here who has been really helpful about my 'small' but irritating seating issue in an otherwise zippy and very original polo like car!
