Both Rear windows not working

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm currently wondering what has happened to my rear windows. During COVID I bought a new battery swapped over and left the car. Unfortunately the battery went flat through 0 use. Have charged the battery I started it and all was well until I went to lower the rear windows. I checked and swapped the fuse out and this didn't fix it. The operation seems dead no clicks or sign of any power getting to the windows. Surely both actuators can't have gone at the same time..? Any help. Appreciated..

Try disconnecting the battery negative terminal for 5 minutes, just to see if resetting things helps.  The battery going flat may have corrupted something.

Hi MicMac,

Tbanks I will try this.

Just checking will this reset my stereo as I'm not convinced I've the code for it.

If it's the original fitment stereo it should be okay, as mentioned in the owners handbook the unit remains unlocked to the vehicle.
