Skods Octavia MK II AUX port not working

Featured Replies

Hello.

I need help for my AUX input.

The input isn't working quite well. When I connect my AUX cable to the input and my phone, one side starts makeing scratching noise and when the music starts playing, only one side of speakers plays. I have tried several different AUX cables, but non of them works.

What shoudl I do? Is there any possible way to fix this problem?

My AUX input is located between front seats.

try getting a cooton bud / q-tip and dip it in some contact cleaner / isopropyl alcohol and clean out the aux jack.

it may just be dirt.

otherwise, start looking at how to strip the centre console to check for cable breaks to the headunit.

Have you looked at your cable? Is it a mono or stereo cable? If stereo (at both ends?) then use a multimeter to check it end to end for breaks.
