PinP display on sat nav screen.

I have a sim card in my car now, and that is obviously connecting online correctly and working with the sat nav to improve the traffic incident reporting, and it seems to change how the PinP works when split screen is selected.

I noticed today going though several motorway junctions., it changes to a schematic view of the road with all the lanes, with a motorway style gantry over it. The lanes to be in is quite clear, however the upper three quarters of the gantry is hidden so you can't actually see the complete text on it which presumably relates to the various routes for each lane? The bit that is visible has road designations on, just unreadable.

Is this normal on others cars, or a fault with mine? Other displays use that area of the PinP box for text so perhaps a clash set up in the programming?
