Just wanted to say hello as a future Skoda owner. The Octavia will be my first car that I'll be buying, just need to pick the right one now! Very excited

After much research I've decided that a petrol Octavia Estate suits us best. We don't do a lot of motorway driving, and definitely need the space

 

Have taken the plunge and bought my first car (2015 Octavia 1.4 SE Elegance DSG with 33k miles on the clock)! Can't wait to pick it up, hopefully Monday! Previously I have always driven hand me down cars from family, always small hatchbacks. Our last car was a Honda Jazz (which is a brilliant little run around).

 

What are you thinking of?

I've had a BMW 5 Series for 6 years, and am after something more dependable, and something cheaper to repair when things do go wrong (or inevitable wear and tear).
The BMW is a lovely car, style, comfort and power; but is expensive to maintain.

I'm now searching for a petrol Octavia vRS, which is a similar size to my BMW 5 Series, with hopefully a decent amount of power too.
