Automatic handbrake fault?

Hi everyone,

So, several times now, when using hill assist and starting on an incline, the electric handbrake came on for no reason. I'm sure I did not touch it. When I first bought the car I stalled it quite violently and unexpectedly a few times in a similar situation (actually same place) but never noticed the red handbrake sign coming on. However, the last few days I noticed it coming on just as the car was taking off, making me stop unexpectedly. This is not only annoying but worrisome, as it would be disastrous if it comes on when driving at speed. Has anyone ever experienced this with their superb? Should I worry and take it in?
