I have a 2018 fabia with Apple CarPlay but since the iOS 14 update, roughly 30 seconds into a song I can hear cracking and distortion. after a while it stops but only for a short period and starts crackling again. Has anyone else experienced this? Ive heard the crackling before but it only happened rarely and for a short period of time. since the update CarPlay has basically been unusable in my car.

Please anyone with a 2018 or later skoda fabia can you reply to this whether you're having the same issue or not. Thank you!

 

 

If you search this forum you will find at least 2 other posts about this exact issue, as far as I’m aware this is something Skoda are yet to find a solution for.
