Driver Passenger window opening on its own

Featured Replies

When driving my Karoq 18 plate the driver passenger window opens on its own. My fob is not pressed at all when this happens and it does close eventually (approx 10mins later) when using switch. Can anyone help. Skoda dealership confused by this.

Window madness can be due to memory loss caused by disconnecting the battery without proper precaution.

Resetting the memory is a service job, I'm afraid.

Are you sure? This was a regular issue with Yetis and could simply be reset by closing the window, releasing and then holding the close button again for a bit with the ignition on?

No, not sure. Seems easy to try...

Car back from Skoda and they say it is due to a faulty window switch. Which will be under warranty. Hope this works. Thanks everyone for your help.
