Hi everyone. Just bought a Karoq yesterday. A 68 reg 1.5 del petrol. Drove it home to Preston from Colne .....about 40 miles. Went to Sainsbury’s today to fill the tank. Went wrong side of pump to start with. The filler is on the opposite side to my last car. Reversed out and got right side to pump, but could I open the filler cover? Could I thump. Had to leave forecourt and find space on main car park. Tried and tried to get flap open in vein. Went on internet and some bright spark suggested to “ give it a good old thump. Which in desperation I did. VOILA it worked. So I drove back to the pumps with the flap open, just in case. 
going to give it a good run tomorrow to get used to it. Fingers crossed. 

Green cars are supposed to be unlucky. It’s true, I bought this one on Sunday and got it side swiped on Tuesday. Never mind eh!!

Blimey...   That's close to my mates record...   He collected his new car, drove it from the forecourt round the block to the petrol station (literally about 100 yards up the road) and was reversed into by a hgv
