When starting the car you have to depress the start button a few times. A little concerned as I’m disabled . It’s been into local dealers Sytner in Llandudno twice and No fault found ...it’s nearly two years old .

I am just wondering incase you had hand controls fitted, or do you have full strength on the foot that presses the brake pedal?

Do you get a message on the dashboard when you depress the start button and the engine doesn't start?

No hand controls fitted . I have good dexterity in my limbs .No no message on dashboard.

it seems this is not unknown on VW AUDI vehicles . 
im concerned I’m going to be marooned somewhere.

It’s a 1:6 Diesel engine 

So Skoda Customer Care have got involved now  . It has been arranged for me to take in the Karoq 16th November afternoon  . A loan car has been arranged ? Europcar know nothing about this arrangement ?. Service department not answering ?

No need to make it up.  That's Skoda Customer Care in a nutshell (i.e. Less than impressive, Poorly trained staff, Don't understand their own products, don't really give a hoot).

you are correct I have just had customer care rep on the phone TELLING me I had it all wrong and the car wasn’t booked until Wednesday !! That day has never been mentioned to . 
You just cannot get a word in edgeways . So they loose a customer of 12 years .
