Skoda Kodiaq ACC & Front Assit Retorfit

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, i have Kodiaq 2020 Middle East version, it comes with cruise control and rear emergency brake but no front assist or ACC, i want to retrofit them and i bought the needed parts from KUFATEC but now i am confused regarding wiriness/harness connection to CAN gateway, the radar wire has 6 end pins as attached (1) and extension connector cable attached (2), the below is the connection map:

  • Wire coming from PIN 1 with round terminal need to be connected to Ground
  • Wire coming from PIN 4 need to ignition lus (clamp 15) on the fusebox. For this the Workshop need to measure by using a multimeter which free fuse place does have clamp 15 (ignition plus)
  • Wire coming from PIN 2 with imprint "T20/17" need to be connected to PIN 17 on the CAN Gateway
  • Wire coming from PIN 3 with imprint "T20/7" need to be connected to PIN 7 on the CAN Gateway
  • Wire coming from PIN 6 with imprint "T17E/11" need to be connected to PIN 11 on the Connector T17 E on the driversside on the a-column
  • Wire coming from PIN 5 with imprint "T17E/9" need to be connected to PIN 9 on the Connector T17 E on the driversside on the a-column.

can anyone help with the connection to the CAN gateway, how to fix it and photos if you have!

Thanks alot

@TeirHi, i want to connect the 6 PINs cable (the cable from front radar) to the CAN gateway but not sure what exactly to do, i see multiple CAN gateway (driver side down) and want to make sure which one i have to connect too, then which PIN is the correct to attache the wire too.

i have found the below diagram here but don't understand any thing at all :) , seems need professionals!

Hope you got my point now
