Hi all, managed to bag myself some genuine VRS logo carpet mats, came to fit them and they're the pop-down style ones. Unfornately, the refining caps on mine are the oval twist type. My question is can they be replaced easily for the afore mentioned or shall I just send them back? Do Skoda stealerships still stock these? Thanks

That's my next approach, but as they're all closed now thought someone on here could lend their knowledge.

You can buy the plain pop on type retaining studs for peanuts on Ali-Express, they simply screw into the carpet which sounds violent but isn't.

 

If unsure about compatibility then buy both parts, the eyelet for the mat and the stud for the carpet.

How hard is it to get the existing ones out? I read somewhere that you have to take the carpet back to access them. 

Managed to sort the job. Removed oval twist ones from old mats and replaced into the new ones. No need to mess around trying to remove them out of the carpet after all. Duh!
