Air con refrigerant label missing (66 plate 1.4 TDi)

Featured Replies

I'm pretty sure my 66 plate diesel SE (manual air con) has the standard r134a refrigerant as I can see the two refill service caps are black but confirmation would be appreciated.

Does anyone who still has a label in their engine bay for the same model know how much g of refrigerant it says? I've found one that says 475g +/- 15g and another label that says 500g? Many thanks!

I have an April 2015 Fabia petrol and I know it has the older refrigerant the new type came in after week 22 models. The gas is much more volatile than the old version. Sorry can’t confirm the grams. Joe

2016 1.2 TSI Petrol has R134A 475 g +/- 15 g  with normal AC on sticker under bonnet.

Thanks,AG Falco
