Hit from behind.

Featured Replies

Came out from the shop tonight to find my wife standing beside the car shaking. A person driving an automatic VW Passat had pulled in behind my car to let someone out. He says that he took the foot off the brake and moved forward hitting my bumper. Do not know how far he travelled before he hit the car. My wife got a terrible fright as she was sitting in the car. Paintwork seems ok as he hit the black plastic strip across the bumper.

Would there be any possible damage behind the bumper??

Will get a mechanic to check it out in the next few days.

Whiplash, hope you got his number if missus kneck starts aching, hope shes ok and the car of course!

Made sure to get all his details..................Just in case.

Wife only got out of hospital last week after having meningitis and did not need this as she was already feeling C**P

I was hit from behind at a roundabout before Xmas and must admit, with the noise from the impact, thought the back of the car had gone. Other driver was in a battered old Mk1 Nissan Micra and he's was wrecked!

Luckily enough, nothing more than a small hole in the bumper and a slight indent on the boot lid. Insurance took care of everything and car was returned as good as new. I didn't suffer from whiplash or anything as my headrest is set to the correct position to avoid personal injury.

These funny little Skoda cars are built very well indeed :D
