Ooh, I have an umbrella holder...

Featured Replies

Handy, in the old days I may or may not have stored some sort of cosh in there but times change, people change and now I'm in the market for an umbrella 🤣

Anyone recommend a manly brolly I could get that would fit. Where do you buy brollies, ffs

The Skoda one is perfectly fine IMO. I use it a lot. Not during strong winds mind. I don’t think any umbrella of that size will be any use in anything over a light breeze.

On the Auto trader ad it did say umbrella under drivers seat in the spec sheet... but there's no actual umbrella. Should I do the honourable thing and moan at them 🤔

The storage location is under the passenger seat. I’d check there first to see if you have in fact got one but don’t know about it.

No defo no umbrella. I only found the holder fiddling about which reminded me about the metion of the umbrella

I got a small telescopic black unbrella that fits perfectly frrom Home Bargains store, about £2.99 I think.  I also have a larger one that fits across the back of the boot that's somewhere between a normal brolley and a golf one. You know the kind of size, not quite big enough to shield 2 of you when its raining.

Hey where can we get them from, sound perfect??

I have a nice large men’s M&S umbrella across the boot of the car. A good solid one, cost about £25!

Still got mine from the VW i got in 2000.

Its a normal size one that they "gave" me, along with a bunch of flowers for my wife and lunch, when we went over to Holland to pick the car up. Very nice people the Dutch. 😊

I've just got a tray under my driver's seat where I keep a fluorescent /reflective jacket. My brollies are in the boot and a rear door pocket.

Definitely no umbrella holder.

Picked up my 67 plate 1.4TSI SE L DSG Estate on Wednesday 9th, and guess what, an umbrella in the passenger under seat compartment and it still has the plastic wrapper on it. Bet the previous owners didn't even know it was there. No fluorescent vest under the drivers seat but soon rectified.
