I've got a Mk3 Octavia VRS estate which has the black pack fitted. On the door B pillars it has the black trim which is looking very tired and grey with lots of swirls on it.

 

Any tips for sprucing it up?

 

Either get a professional valeter to machine polish to remove swirls then wax or get someone to vinyl wrap it in gloss black or another finish that you like.

I've got a DA polisher so will probably have a crack myself. I just wanted to check that I'm not going to destroy the trim with the polisher 

 

I think I might have to get a smaller backing plate and pads for it before I try.
