Has anybody has issues with end float on a tfsi?

 

Sent my car in for what I thought it needed, new clutch and flywheel, they noticed play in the gearbox so that went off for repair.

Now after putting it all back together it was still vibrating through the clutch pedal. 

Box came back off and end float was discovered on the crank.

 

Now it needs a new engine!

 

Just great before Xmas.
