does anyone know where i can get a car kit for the psp INCLUDING connection to the stereo. Its a decent mp3/aac player and i want to be able to use it as such in the car?

if the kit was in white it would be a bonus too

Which stereo do you have ? Some Skoda units have an aux-in socket at the back.

Its in a golf mark 5. its the RCD 300 (i think) front loading single slot player without the midrange controls on it.

just get either one of them rubbish tape adapters or a phono->3.5mm jack and plug it in using the AUX in of your stereo

Forgot to mention, its a company car so they have to get someone else to fit it for me. Hence why i want a complete kit so its done professionally.

I had considered on of those when i ordered the car. but DSG ate up all my budget

Trouble with phatbox is that you dont get any information on the Head unit display. if i had the psp right next to it then i've got all the info i need

Sorry to digress this thread a little but, is it a GTi MK5 DSG ?

its a GT TDI 140bhp DSG. GTI would have been nice but the company only allow diesels. My colleague will be getting the 170bhp one next year when his is renewed.

Hi, thanks for the links. i've seen the mounts already, its just a shame no one has taken the time to make a complete car kit for it.

i've got a belkin Tunecast II to have a play with. Quality isnt too bad if you crank the volume right up - but i did try it in an Audi A4 at lunch.

I wish Brodit would make a mount for the PSP...

I have Brodit mounts for my iPod and XDA Mini S, they're grrrrrrrreat!

I just use a cheapo halfrauds phone holder for my xda mini s. works a treat as when you plug the car charger in to the bottom, you can jam it against the dash to stop it rattling

I've sorted out a halfbaked solution. I've got a belkin tunecast that i have on loan. sound quality is good but not breathtaking. I've also found that my psp case fits perfectly just above the gear stick in the mk5 golf propped up against the 2 parallel supports to the centre console (see pic). I can hide the belkin tunecast behind the psp in the cubbyhole there.
