I am not sure if every model of the Karoq is capable of displaying the engine oil temperature on the infotainment screen, but on the Karoq Scout it is possible via the offroad information page. However, on some occasions I have noticed that the virtual cockpit displays the actual engine oil temperature, while the infotainment oil temperature display on the offroad information page is dashed out. It happens usually when you start driving the car after it has been shut down with the infotainment system displaying the offroad information page. But once this offroad information page is recalled, either by pressing the offroad driving mode button, or via the infotainment menu, then the oil temperature readout corresponds to the correct value as displayed in the virtual cockpit.

 

My guess is that this must be a software issue more than a hardware fault, since it works 100% in the virtual cockpit. Anyone seen this before?

Same issue as in my edition probably. Turn on the ignition and it displays the last trip data mpg distance from start etc. This resets once running if the time interval exceeds the time allowed for breaks in journey.

Thanks for the reply. Though I'm not sure I understand how that would relate to the issue with discrepancy in oil temperature readout between digital cockpit and infotainment?
