Eonon screen calibration

Featured Replies

So I have purchased a Skoda Octavia with an eonon d5153 installed. After reading on the subject, I realise it's no surprise it doesn't work properly.

It worked for a few days after purchasing the car, now the screen stopped responding and there is no way of getting into settings to try calibrate it.

It'll only play the radio and CDs and as such it's not much use to me.

I have contacted eonon, but, no surprise here, they advised that I should replace the whole unit.

I'm thinking it either needs calibrating, or some wires will need reconnected but not sure which ones? I'm much technically skilled so haven't yet disconnected the unit to check what it's like behind it.

Anyone had a similar problem and how did you resolve it. I cannot afford a new car stereo atm.

Thanks
