High beam wire for 2019 SE Superb Mk3

Featured Replies

I'm looking to add wig wag high beam flasher to my 2019 Superb SE , I already have this functioning on my 2018 SE  model using wire 8 on the  headlight plug, however the 2019 is  slightly different  and this wire doesn't operate the high beam. Has anyone got a wiring diagram or schematic of the headlight function?  Thanks

Are you talking about the auto high beam? I’m not sure what a wig wag high beam is. Certainly the auto high beam is an easy enough retrofit on these cars which I can detail if needed :)

Would be interested in learning how to do this for my MY19 SE-L Exec

Apart from pretending to be a police car, is there any practical reason for doing this?

Buy a Golf 7.5 HBA mirror, make a twisted CAN loom, depin pin 3 on the mirror, insert CAN high to that pin, CAN low to pin 8. Splice CAN low to pin 7 in the gateway and CAN high to pin 17. Code 20 High Beam Assist into the Gateway and check the coding in there is right for your headlight type.

A simple " No, I don't know." will suffice.

A simple answer would suffice my curiosity :)

Your curt answer makes me think it is what I thought..
