Tried jabbing needle inside hole, nothing still... any ideas.  Thanks again :)

Does the pump make a noise?

hi yes

OK, a pipe connection might have popped apart. There are four connections in the pipe going to the rear washer jet that can come apart. This happens more often if the correct strength of screenwash is not used.

1. The pipe connection at the pump under the wheel arch....

2. One at the bulkhead near the abs unit....

3. One behind the passenger side rear side trim near the rear seatbelt reel....

4. Finally, inside the tailgate at the wiper motor....

Gosh thanks, seems quite involved for such a daft thing i just worry about getting trims off and back on without breaking them.  not really very good myself.  thanks for the advice though, will see if i can identify any which don't involve trim removal.

The bulkhead one is a favourite to come apart so maybe check that one first.
