Not-so-new Superb owner

Featured Replies

Hi,

great forum here! I wanted a Superb since 2013 but wasn’t prepared to go all out on finance for one. Over the past few years I’ve bought some right dodgy cars just to “get me by” and the option of buying a 2007 Mk1 for a very affordable price came up as an option very recently.
I checked on this forum for the model’s regular faults and decided to take a chance on it. Yeah, I know about the water ingress issue and the potential of the PD engine failing via the oil pump; for such a lovely car that’s 14 years old I can live with it.

What a beast!

What quality!

I could go on all day, but, as the section implies… Hello!

Hello Stoo

A 2005 Mk1 Superb (V6TDI) was my first Skoda, and brought me here.  I hope you get to love yours as much as I did mine.

Rose tinted glasses, but if I saw mine on the market I'd not hesitate to buy it again!
