Need to replace head gasket on Skoda Fabia 2002 1.4 but I'm told by Skoda that they don't have them anymore (strange). Anyone recommend a good replacement product. There are several on eBay etc. but I would prefer to buy a "good" product if someone can make a recommendation.

If you cannot get a Temac gasket and must buy a pattern item then Victor Reinz or Payen would be my second choices.

I used Victor Reinz on mine.

 

Reinz gasket set number for 1.4, 8 valve MPI is 02-36205-01

You'll start the car and drive it without further incident until something else goes wrong.

Seems reasonable.
