Good morning all,

 

 

 I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction, i own a 2019 Octavia VRS with tow bar prep. i'm looking at fitting a tow bar myself, just for towing small trailers/bike rack, but here lies my problem. There seem to be an endless amount of options when buying one, what wiring adapters would i need to go with the tow bar prep ? what makes and models do people recommend ? 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I fitted a Westfalia detachable swan neck. I had no pre prep so it was a bit of a faff running all the wires, the guides on here and the guide that came with the kit were pretty straightforward and easily DIYable.

The prep you have should be behind the Left hand rear boot liner above the arch and the wiring clips into there.

You will be told, make sure you have it all coded correctly to ensure the vehicle acts correctly when towing (ABS, traction control etc)
