Hatch boot lock not pulling in

Featured Replies

Hi guys im new to the superb scene as my father in law gifted us his old superb that needs some tlc. The car was rear ended before xmas but sustained minimal damage. The tailgate had dent along where the superb wording is and that is all. The tailgate was repaired and the car put on the road again. But when the car arrived up at mine i noticed the boot lid wasnt sitting properly. The boot closes but momemts later the boot lid pops up. Its as if the latch holds temporarily and then lets go. Pushing on the latch it springs back. The hatchback part operates if i push the tailgate down first . So if anyone can point me in the right direction so i can sort this problem out it would be greatly appreciated.

Read the very helpful Birskoda, Skoda Superb Guides article 'Superb Twindoor Wiring Fix'. This might be your problem, it was mine.
